6But Christ as a son over his own house; whose house are we, if we hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm unto the end.

3Who being the brightness of [his] glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;
14For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence stedfast unto the end;
15And it is yet far more evident: for that after the similitude of Melchisedec there ariseth another priest,
17But, beloved, remember ye the words which were spoken before of the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ;
28For the law maketh men high priests which have infirmity; but the word of the oath, which was since the law, [maketh] the Son, who is consecrated for evermore.
20And inasmuch as not without an oath [he was made priest]:
21(For those priests were made without an oath; but this with an oath by him that said unto him, The Lord sware and will not repent, Thou [art] a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec:)
22By so much was Jesus made a surety of a better testament.
20Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant,
24For Christ is not entered into the holy places made with hands, [which are] the figures of the true; but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us:
5So also Christ glorified not himself to be made an high priest; but he that said unto him, Thou art my Son, to day have I begotten thee.
6As he saith also in another [place], Thou [art] a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec.
7Who in the days of his flesh, when he had offered up prayers and supplications with strong crying and tears unto him that was able to save him from death, and was heard in that he feared;
7Remember them which have the rule over you, who have spoken unto you the word of God: whose faith follow, considering the end of [their] conversation.
8Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.
23Let us hold fast the profession of [our] faith without wavering; (for he [is] faithful that promised;)
20For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ:
1¶ The elders which are among you I exhort, who am also an elder, and a witness of the sufferings of Christ, and also a partaker of the glory that shall be revealed:
9God [is] faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord.

6¶ But now hath he obtained a more excellent ministry, by how much also he is the mediator of a better covenant, which was established upon better promises.
17¶ Brethren, be followers together of me, and mark them which walk so as ye have us for an ensample.
17For he testifieth, Thou [art] a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec.
23To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect,
