1¶ Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset [us], and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,
6Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience.
12¶ Wherefore I will not be negligent to put you always in remembrance of these things, though ye know [them], and be established in the present truth.
13Yea, I think it meet, as long as I am in this tabernacle, to stir you up by putting [you] in remembrance;
22And I beseech you, brethren, suffer the word of exhortation: for I have written a letter unto you in few words.
25Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbour: for we are members one of another.
26Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath:
19Brethren, if any of you do err from the truth, and one convert him;
32But call to remembrance the former days, in which, after ye were illuminated, ye endured a great fight of afflictions;
16Do not err, my beloved brethren.
