23Likewise when the LORD sent you from Kadeshbarnea, saying, Go up and possess the land which I have given you; then ye rebelled against the commandment of the LORD your God, and ye believed him not, nor hearkened to his voice.
16Because the LORD was not able to bring this people into the land which he sware unto them, therefore he hath slain them in the wilderness.
34And the LORD heard the voice of your words, and was wroth, and sware, saying,
35Surely there shall not one of these men of this evil generation see that good land, which I sware to give unto your fathers,
3For what if some did not believe? shall their unbelief make the faith of God without effect?
5But with many of them God was not well pleased: for they were overthrown in the wilderness.
32Yet in this thing ye did not believe the LORD your God,

8And might not be as their fathers, a stubborn and rebellious generation; a generation [that] set not their heart aright, and whose spirit was not stedfast with God.
