7¶ Let mine enemy be as the wicked, and he that riseth up against me as the unrighteous.

2Shall he that contendeth with the Almighty instruct [him]? he that reproveth God, let him answer it.
10¶ My defence [is] of God, which saveth the upright in heart.
7The LORD taketh my part with them that help me: therefore shall I see [my desire] upon them that hate me.
15Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him: but I will maintain mine own ways before him.
4¶ Behold, God [is] mine helper: the Lord [is] with them that uphold my soul.
32For [he is] not a man, as I [am, that] I should answer him, [and] we should come together in judgment.
20[Let] this [be] the reward of mine adversaries from the LORD, and of them that speak evil against my soul.
5If thou canst answer me, set [thy words] in order before me, stand up.
