19And he set the porters at the gates of the house of the LORD, that none [which was] unclean in any thing should enter in.
17Therefore thus saith the LORD God of hosts, the God of Israel; Behold, I will bring upon Judah and upon all the inhabitants of Jerusalem all the evil that I have pronounced against them: because I have spoken unto them, but they have not heard; and I have called unto them, but they have not answered.
18For, behold, I have made thee this day a defenced city, and an iron pillar, and brasen walls against the whole land, against the kings of Judah, against the princes thereof, against the priests thereof, and against the people of the land.
14¶ Wherefore hear the word of the LORD, ye scornful men, that rule this people which [is] in Jerusalem.
