1¶ In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

15¶ John bare witness of him, and cried, saying, This was he of whom I spake, He that cometh after me is preferred before me: for he was before me.

20Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you,
11¶ For this is the message that ye heard from the beginning, that we should love one another.
3Grace be with you, mercy, [and] peace, from God the Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of the Father, in truth and love.
