1 ¶ Now before the feast of the passover, when Jesus knew that his hour was come that he should depart out of this world unto the Father, having loved his own which were in the world, he loved them unto the end.
42 And he brought him to Jesus. And when Jesus beheld him, he said, ‹Thou art Simon the son of Jona: thou shalt be called Cephas,› which is by interpretation, A stone.

24 Then answered Simon, and said, Pray ye to the Lord for me, that none of these things which ye have spoken come upon me.
34 And he said, ‹I tell thee, Peter, the cock shall not crow this day, before that thou shalt thrice deny that thou knowest me.›
