15¶ O LORD, thou knowest: remember me, and visit me, and revenge me of my persecutors; take me not away in thy longsuffering: know that for thy sake I have suffered rebuke.
5If indeed ye will magnify [yourselves] against me, and plead against me my reproach:
12¶ They also that seek after my life lay snares [for me]: and they that seek my hurt speak mischievous things, and imagine deceits all the day long.
20For they speak against thee wickedly, [and] thine enemies take [thy name] in vain.
10But thou, O LORD, be merciful unto me, and raise me up, that I may requite them.
20[Let] this [be] the reward of mine adversaries from the LORD, and of them that speak evil against my soul.
7All they that see me laugh me to scorn: they shoot out the lip, they shake the head, [saying],
18¶ Remember this, [that] the enemy hath reproached, O LORD, and [that] the foolish people have blasphemed thy name.
20But, O LORD of hosts, that judgest righteously, that triest the reins and the heart, let me see thy vengeance on them: for unto thee have I revealed my cause.
10For mine enemies speak against me; and they that lay wait for my soul take counsel together,
15Though I have bound [and] strengthened their arms, yet do they imagine mischief against me.
1¶ A Psalm of David, when he fled from Absalom his son. LORD, how are they increased that trouble me! many [are] they that rise up against me.
12But, O LORD of hosts, that triest the righteous, [and] seest the reins and the heart, let me see thy vengeance on them: for unto thee have I opened my cause.
9[As for] the head of those that compass me about, let the mischief of their own lips cover them.
2For the mouth of the wicked and the mouth of the deceitful are opened against me: they have spoken against me with a lying tongue.
3They compassed me about also with words of hatred; and fought against me without a cause.

12For [it was] not an enemy [that] reproached me; then I could have borne [it]: neither [was it] he that hated me [that] did magnify [himself] against me; then I would have hid myself from him:
25I became also a reproach unto them: [when] they looked upon me they shaked their heads.
14I was a derision to all my people; [and] their song all the day.
