3 ¶ If a woman also vow a vow unto the LORD, and bind herself by a bond, [being] in her father's house in her youth;

12 But if her husband hath utterly made them void on the day he heard [them; then] whatsoever proceeded out of her lips concerning her vows, or concerning the bond of her soul, shall not stand: her husband hath made them void; and the LORD shall forgive her.
13 Every vow, and every binding oath to afflict the soul, her husband may establish it, or her husband may make it void.
14 But if her husband altogether hold his peace at her from day to day; then he establisheth all her vows, or all her bonds, which [are] upon her: he confirmeth them, because he held his peace at her in the day that he heard [them].
15 But if he shall any ways make them void after that he hath heard [them]; then he shall bear her iniquity.
21 When thou shalt vow a vow unto the LORD thy God, thou shalt not slack to pay it: for the LORD thy God will surely require it of thee; and it would be sin in thee.
22 But if thou shalt forbear to vow, it shall be no sin in thee.

34 My covenant will I not break, nor alter the thing that is gone out of my lips.
12 And ye shall not swear by my name falsely, neither shalt thou profane the name of thy God: I [am] the LORD.
7 Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain; for the LORD will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.
2 How he sware unto the LORD, [and] vowed unto the mighty [God] of Jacob;
5 Or all that about which he hath sworn falsely; he shall even restore it in the principal, and shall add the fifth part more thereto, [and] give it unto him to whom it appertaineth, in the day of his trespass offering.
11 ¶ And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
3 And say thou unto them, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel; Cursed [be] the man that obeyeth not the words of this covenant,
6 Speak unto the children of Israel, When a man or woman shall commit any sin that men commit, to do a trespass against the LORD, and that person be guilty;
13 Thou shalt fear the LORD thy God, and serve him, and shalt swear by his name.
15 And if ye shall despise my statutes, or if your soul abhor my judgments, so that ye will not do all my commandments, [but] that ye break my covenant:
2 I [counsel thee] to keep the king's commandment, and [that] in regard of the oath of God.
20 And if thou utter this our business, then we will be quit of thine oath which thou hast made us to swear.
