1¶ A Song of degrees of David. LORD, my heart is not haughty, nor mine eyes lofty: neither do I exercise myself in great matters, or in things too high for me.
22For my people [is] foolish, they have not known me; they [are] sottish children, and they have none understanding: they [are] wise to do evil, but to do good they have no knowledge.
32For [he is] not a man, as I [am, that] I should answer him, [and] we should come together in judgment.

10¶ But as for you all, do ye return, and come now: for I cannot find [one] wise [man] among you.
29For that they hated knowledge, and did not choose the fear of the LORD:
17Then I beheld all the work of God, that a man cannot find out the work that is done under the sun: because though a man labour to seek [it] out, yet he shall not find [it]; yea further; though a wise [man] think to know [it], yet shall he not be able to find [it].
26Behold, God [is] great, and we know [him] not, neither can the number of his years be searched out.
