20 ¶ Wisdom crieth without; she uttereth her voice in the streets:

4 Unto you, O men, I call; and my voice [is] to the sons of man.

26 For she hath cast down many wounded: yea, many strong [men] have been slain by her.
27 Her house [is] the way to hell, going down to the chambers of death.
2 I will rise now, and go about the city in the streets, and in the broad ways I will seek him whom my soul loveth: I sought him, but I found him not.
3 The watchmen that go about the city found me: [to whom I said], Saw ye him whom my soul loveth?
19 ¶ Open to me the gates of righteousness: I will go into them, [and] I will praise the LORD:
20 This gate of the LORD, into which the righteous shall enter.
18 For her house inclineth unto death, and her paths unto the dead.
7 As a fountain casteth out her waters, so she casteth out her wickedness: violence and spoil is heard in her; before me continually [is] grief and wounds.
16 Then cried a wise woman out of the city, Hear, hear; say, I pray you, unto Joab, Come near hither, that I may speak with thee.
26 Then came the woman in the dawning of the day, and fell down at the door of the man's house where her lord [was], till it was light.
4 And the doors shall be shut in the streets, when the sound of the grinding is low, and he shall rise up at the voice of the bird, and all the daughters of musick shall be brought low;
21 With her much fair speech she caused him to yield, with the flattering of her lips she forced him.
2 She weepeth sore in the night, and her tears [are] on her cheeks: among all her lovers she hath none to comfort [her]: all her friends have dealt treacherously with her, they are become her enemies.
10 Day and night they go about it upon the walls thereof: mischief also and sorrow [are] in the midst of it.
11 Wickedness [is] in the midst thereof: deceit and guile depart not from her streets.
7 The watchmen that went about the city found me, they smote me, they wounded me; the keepers of the walls took away my veil from me.
8 Exalt her, and she shall promote thee: she shall bring thee to honour, when thou dost embrace her.
10 Who [is] she [that] looketh forth as the morning, fair as the moon, clear as the sun, [and] terrible as [an army] with banners?
9 If she [be] a wall, we will build upon her a palace of silver: and if she [be] a door, we will inclose her with boards of cedar.
