15I have sewed sackcloth upon my skin, and defiled my horn in the dust.
8And thou hast filled me with wrinkles, [which] is a witness [against me]: and my leanness rising up in me beareth witness to my face.
21¶ Thus my heart was grieved, and I was pricked in my reins.
4My heart is sore pained within me: and the terrors of death are fallen upon me.
20Behold, O LORD; for I [am] in distress: my bowels are troubled; mine heart is turned within me; for I have grievously rebelled: abroad the sword bereaveth, at home [there is] as death.
25For our soul is bowed down to the dust: our belly cleaveth unto the earth.
9For I have eaten ashes like bread, and mingled my drink with weeping,

25¶ DALETH. My soul cleaveth unto the dust: quicken thou me according to thy word.
