15 ¶ Slothfulness casteth into a deep sleep; and an idle soul shall suffer hunger.
4 I will not give sleep to mine eyes, [or] slumber to mine eyelids,
2 Ye that stand in the house of the LORD, in the courts of the house of our God,
10 Lest strangers be filled with thy wealth; and thy labours [be] in the house of a stranger;
6 ¶ I have set watchmen upon thy walls, O Jerusalem, [which] shall never hold their peace day nor night: ye that make mention of the LORD, keep not silence,
7 And give him no rest, till he establish, and till he make Jerusalem a praise in the earth.
5 Build ye houses, and dwell [in them]; and plant gardens, and eat the fruit of them;
8 When thou buildest a new house, then thou shalt make a battlement for thy roof, that thou bring not blood upon thine house, if any man fall from thence.
11 Then I looked on all the works that my hands had wrought, and on the labour that I had laboured to do: and, behold, all [was] vanity and vexation of spirit, and [there was] no profit under the sun.

23 This is the LORD'S doing; it [is] marvellous in our eyes.
15 The labour of the foolish wearieth every one of them, because he knoweth not how to go to the city.
16 For they sleep not, except they have done mischief; and their sleep is taken away, unless they cause [some] to fall.
2 For thou hast made of a city an heap; [of] a defenced city a ruin: a palace of strangers to be no city; it shall never be built.
7 Wherewith the mower filleth not his hand; nor he that bindeth sheaves his bosom.
3 ¶ Commit thy works unto the LORD, and thy thoughts shall be established.
17 Unless the LORD [had been] my help, my soul had almost dwelt in silence.
2 The LORD doth build up Jerusalem: he gathereth together the outcasts of Israel.
1 ¶ Wisdom hath builded her house, she hath hewn out her seven pillars:
4 [Is it] time for you, O ye, to dwell in your cieled houses, and this house [lie] waste?
