1¶ And the angel that talked with me came again, and waked me, as a man that is wakened out of his sleep,
2And said unto me, What seest thou? And I said, I have looked, and behold a candlestick all [of] gold, with a bowl upon the top of it, and his seven lamps thereon, and seven pipes to the seven lamps, which [are] upon the top thereof:

9Then said I, O my lord, what [are] these? And the angel that talked with me said unto me, I will shew thee what these [be].
10And the man that stood among the myrtle trees answered and said, These [are they] whom the LORD hath sent to walk to and fro through the earth.
11And they answered the angel of the LORD that stood among the myrtle trees, and said, We have walked to and fro through the earth, and, behold, all the earth sitteth still, and is at rest.

8And I heard, but I understood not: then said I, O my Lord, what [shall be] the end of these [things]?
19And I said unto the angel that talked with me, What [be] these? And he answered me, These [are] the horns which have scattered Judah, Israel, and Jerusalem.
20And the LORD shewed me four carpenters.
21Then said I, What come these to do? And he spake, saying, These [are] the horns which have scattered Judah, so that no man did lift up his head: but these are come to fray them, to cast out the horns of the Gentiles, which lifted up [their] horn over the land of Judah to scatter it.
3And he said unto me, Son of man, can these bones live? And I answered, O Lord GOD, thou knowest.
13¶ And one of the elders answered, saying unto me, What are these which are arrayed in white robes? and whence came they?
14And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.
2And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
19And the people said unto me, Wilt thou not tell us what these [things are] to us, that thou doest [so]?
20Then I answered them, The word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
16I came near unto one of them that stood by, and asked him the truth of all this. So he told me, and made me know the interpretation of the things.
12‹But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not.›
18¶ And the LORD hath given me knowledge [of it], and I know [it]: then thou shewedst me their doings.
15And when he had spoken such words unto me, I set my face toward the ground, and I became dumb.
16And, behold, [one] like the similitude of the sons of men touched my lips: then I opened my mouth, and spake, and said unto him that stood before me, O my lord, by the vision my sorrows are turned upon me, and I have retained no strength.
17For how can the servant of this my lord talk with this my lord? for as for me, straightway there remained no strength in me, neither is there breath left in me.
2Then said I, Whither goest thou? And he said unto me, To measure Jerusalem, to see what [is] the breadth thereof, and what [is] the length thereof.
8Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
9What knowest thou, that we know not? [what] understandest thou, which [is] not in us?
16It stood still, but I could not discern the form thereof: an image [was] before mine eyes, [there was] silence, and I heard a voice, [saying],
6And I said, What [is] it? And he said, This [is] an ephah that goeth forth. He said moreover, This [is] their resemblance through all the earth.
13And the LORD answered the angel that talked with me [with] good words [and] comfortable words.
7And he said unto them, What manner of man [was he] which came up to meet you, and told you these words?
3Who [is] he that hideth counsel without knowledge? therefore have I uttered that I understood not; things too wonderful for me, which I knew not.
4Hear, I beseech thee, and I will speak: I will demand of thee, and declare thou unto me.

13And he said unto them, ‹Know ye not this parable? and how then will ye know all parables?›
