11Wherein the king granted the Jews which were in every city to gather themselv together, and to stand for their life, to dtroy, to slay, and to cause to perish, all the power of the people and province that would assault them, both little on and women, and to take the spoil of them for a prey,
8And Haman said unto king Ahasuerus, There is a certain people scattered abroad and dispersed among the people in all the provinc of thy kingdom; and their laws are diverse from all people; neither keep they the king's laws: therefore it is not for the king's profit to suffer them.
19And when the virgins were gathered together the second time, then Mordecai sat in the king's gate.

3And in every province, whithersoever the king's commandment and his decree came, there was great mourning among the Jews, and fasting, and weeping, and wailing; and many lay in sackcloth and ash.
36And they delivered the king's commissions unto the king's lieutenants, and to the governors on this side the river: and they furthered the people, and the house of God.
