Then answered gai, and said, So is this people, and so is this nation before me, saith the LORD; and so is every work of their hands; and that which they offer there is unclean.

    16 And the priests went into the inner part of the house of the LORD, to cleanse it, and brought out all the uncleanness that they found in the temple of the LORD into the court of the house of the LORD. And the Levites took it, to carry it out abroad into the brook Kidron.

  • 11 And if it be any uncan beast, of which they do not offer a sacrifice unto the LORD, then he shall present the beast before the priest:

  • 7 And those men said unto him, We are defiled by the dead body of a man: wherefore are we kept back, that we may not offer an offering of the LORD in his appointed season among the children of Israel?

  • 26 Her priests have violated my law, and have profaned mine holy things: they have put no difference between the holy and profane, neither have they shewed difference between the unclean and the clean, and have hid their eyes from my sabbaths, and I am profaned among them.

  • 13 And this have ye done again, covering the altar of the LORD with tears, with weeping, and with crying out, insomuch that he regardeth not the offering any more, or receiveth it with good will at your hand.

  • 21 Moreover the soul that shall touch any uncan thing, as the uncanness of man, or any uncan beast, or any abominab uncan thing, and eat of the fsh of the sacrifice of peace offerings, which pertain unto the LORD, even that soul shall be cut off from his peop.
