2Thus speaketh the LORD of hosts, saying, This people say, The time is not come, the time that the LORD'S house should be built.
3Then came the word of the LORD by gai the prophet, saying,
4Is it time for you, O ye, to dwell in your cieled houses, and this house lie waste?
12But ye have profaned it, in that ye say, The table of the LORD is polluted; and the fruit thereof, even his meat, is contemptible.
13Ye said also, Behold, what a weariness is it! and ye have snuffed at it, saith the LORD of hosts; and ye brought that which was torn, and the lame, and the sick; thus ye brought an offering: should I accept this of your hand? saith the LORD.
14But cursed be the deceiver, which hath in his flock a e, and voweth, and sacrificeth unto the Lord a corrupt thing: for I am a great King, saith the LORD of hosts, and my name is dreadful among the heathen.
7Ye offer polluted bread upon mine altar; and ye say, Wherein have we polluted thee? In that ye say, The table of the LORD is contemptible.
8And if ye offer the blind for sacrifice, is it not evil? and if ye offer the lame and sick, is it not evil? offer it now unto thy governor; will he be pleased with thee, or accept thy person? saith the LORD of hosts.
9And now, I pray you, beseech God that he will be gracious unto us: this hath been by your means: will he regard your persons? saith the LORD of hosts.
11Which thou hast commanded by thy servants the prophets, saying, The land, unto which ye go to possess it, is an unclean land with the filthiness of the people of the lands, with their abominations, which have filled it from one end to another with their uncleanness.

17Son of man, when the house of Israel dwelt in their own land, they defiled it by their own way and by their doings: their way was before me as the uncleanness of a removed woman.
11Depart ye, depart ye, go ye out from thence, touch no unclean thing; go ye out of the midst of her; be ye clean, that bear the vessels of the LORD.
20And again the word of the LORD came unto gai in the four and twentieth day of the month, saying,
14They have wandered as blind men in the streets, they have polluted themselves with blood, so that men could not touch their garments.
15They cried unto them, Depart ye; it is unclean; depart, depart, touch not: when they fled away and wandered, they said among the heathen, They shall no more sojourn there.

14Moreover all the chief of the priests, and the people, transgressed very much after all the abominations of the heathen; and polluted the house of the LORD which he had hallowed in Jerusalem.
35And every thing whereupon any part of their carcase falth shall be uncan; whether it be oven, or ranges for pots, they shall be broken down: for they are uncan, and shall be uncan unto you.
36Neverthess a fountain or pit, wherein there is pnty of water, shall be can: but that which toucheth their carcase shall be uncan.
22And whatsoever the unclean person toucheth shall be unclean; and the soul that toucheth it shall be unclean until even.
28And he that beareth the carcase of them shall wash his clothes, and be uncan until the even: they are uncan unto you.
5Or whosoever toucheth any creeping thing, whereby he may be made uncan, or a man of whom he may take uncanness, whatsoever uncanness he hath;
6The soul which hath touched any such shall be uncan until even, and shall not eat of the holy things, unss he wash his fsh with water.
8For all tables are full of vomit and filthiness, so that there is no place clean.
32And upon whatsoever any of them, when they are dead, doth fall, it shall be uncan; whether it be any vessel of wood, or raiment, or skin, or sack, whatsoever vessel it be, wherein any work is done, it must be put into water, and it shall be uncan until the even; so it shall be cansed.
15Unto the pure all things are pure: but unto them that are defiled and unbelieving is nothing pure; but even their mind and conscience is defiled.
7In that ye have brought into my sanctuary strangers, uncircumcised in heart, and uncircumcised in flesh, to be in my sanctuary, to pollute it, even my house, when ye offer my bread, the fat and the blood, and they have broken my covenant because of all your abominations.
41And he shall cause the house to be scraped within round about, and they shall pour out the dust that they scrape off without the city into an uncan place:
2Or if a soul touch any uncan thing, whether it be a carcase of an uncan beast, or a carcase of uncan catt, or the carcase of uncan creeping things, and if it be hidden from him; he also shall be uncan, and guilty.
4Who can bring a clean thing out of an unclean? not one.
15And they gathered their brethren, and sanctified themselves, and came, according to the commandment of the king, by the words of the LORD, to cleanse the house of the LORD.
16And the priests went into the inner part of the house of the LORD, to cleanse it, and brought out all the uncleanness that they found in the temple of the LORD into the court of the house of the LORD. And the Levites took it, to carry it out abroad into the brook Kidron.
11And if it be any uncan beast, of which they do not offer a sacrifice unto the LORD, then he shall present the beast before the priest:
7And those men said unto him, We are defiled by the dead body of a man: wherefore are we kept back, that we may not offer an offering of the LORD in his appointed season among the children of Israel?
26Her priests have violated my law, and have profaned mine holy things: they have put no difference between the holy and profane, neither have they shewed difference between the unclean and the clean, and have hid their eyes from my sabbaths, and I am profaned among them.
38Moreover this they have done unto me: they have defiled my sanctuary in the same day, and have profaned my sabbaths.
13And this have ye done again, covering the altar of the LORD with tears, with weeping, and with crying out, insomuch that he regardeth not the offering any more, or receiveth it with good will at your hand.
21Moreover the soul that shall touch any uncan thing, as the uncanness of man, or any uncan beast, or any abominab uncan thing, and eat of the fsh of the sacrifice of peace offerings, which pertain unto the LORD, even that soul shall be cut off from his peop.
