1 In the beginning of the reign of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah king of Judah came this word unto emiah from the LORD, saying,
10 Then Hananiah the prophet took the yoke from off the prophet emiah's neck, and brake it.

3 And send them to the king of Edom, and to the king of Moab, and to the king of the Ammonites, and to the king of Tyrus, and to the king of Zidon, by the hand of the messengers which come to usalem unto Zedekiah king of Judah;
4 And command them to say unto their masters, Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Thus shall ye say unto your masters;

2 So I got a girdle according to the word of the LORD, and put it on my loins.

17 Thou therefore gird up thy loins, and arise, and speak unto them all that I command thee: be not dismayed at their faces, lest I confound thee before them.
18 For, behold, I have made thee this day a defenced city, and an iron pillar, and brasen walls against the whole land, against the kings of Judah, against the princes thereof, against the priests thereof, and against the people of the land.
6 And emiah said, The word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

3 Therefore thus saith the LORD; Behold, against this family do I devise an evil, from which ye shall not remove your necks; neither shall ye go haughtily: for this time is evil.
6 Against him came up Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, and bound him in fetters, to carry him to Babylon.
20 Hear ye therefore the word of the LORD, all ye of the captivity, whom I have sent from usalem to Babylon:
