18Behold, when we come into the land, thou shalt bind this line of scarlet thread in the window which thou didst let us down by: and thou shalt bring thy father, and thy mother, and thy brethren, and all thy father's household, home unto thee.
21And she said, According unto your words, so be it. And she sent them away, and they departed: and she bound the scarlet line in the window.
22And they went, and came unto the mountain, and abode there three days, until the pursuers were returned: and the pursuers sought them throughout all the way, but found them not.

22Then said hua, Open the mouth of the cave, and bring out those five kings unto me out of the cave.
25And when he shewed them the entrance into the city, they smote the city with the edge of the sword; but they let go the man and all his family.

6And they went to hua unto the camp at Gilgal, and said unto him, and to the men of Israel, We be come from a far country: now therefore make ye a league with us.
30And the LORD delivered it also, and the king thereof, into the hand of Israel; and he smote it with the edge of the sword, and all the souls that were therein; he let none remain in it; but did unto the king thereof as he did unto the king of Jericho.
16So hua rose up early in the morning, and brought Israel by their tribes; and the tribe of Judah was taken:
24And they answered hua, and said, Because it was certainly told thy servants, how that the LORD thy God commanded his servant Moses to give you all the land, and to destroy all the inhabitants of the land from before you, therefore we were sore afraid of our lives because of you, and have done this thing.
6And when Joshua had let the people go, the children of Israel went every man unto his inheritance to possess the land.
11So the ark of the LORD compassed the city, going about it once: and they came into the camp, and lodged in the camp.
