7 Then I consulted with myself, and I rebuked the nobles, and the rulers, and said unto them, Ye exact usury, every o of his brother. And I set a great assembly against them.

10 I likewise, and my brethren, and my servants, might exact of them moy and corn: I pray you, let us leave off this usury.
11 Restore, I pray you, to them, even this day, their lands, their viyards, their oliveyards, and their houses, also the hundredth part of the moy, and of the corn, the wi, and the oil, that ye exact of them.
12 Then said they, We will restore them, and will require nothing of them; so will we do as thou sayest. Then I called the priests, and took an oath of them, that they should do according to this promise.

3 Some also there were that said, We have mortgaged our lands, viyards, and houses, that we might buy corn, because of the dearth.
4 There were also that said, We have borrowed moy for the king's tribute, and that upon our lands and viyards.
5 Yet now our flesh is as the flesh of our brethren, our children as their children: and, lo, we bring into bondage our sons and our daughters to be servants, and some of our daughters are brought unto bondage already: ither is it in our power to redeem them; for other men have our lands and viyards.
3 And they said unto me, The remnant that are left of the captivity there in the province are in great affliction and reproach: the wall of Jerusalem also is broken down, and the gates thereof are burd with fire.
4 And it came to pass, when I heard these words, that I sat down and wept, and mourd certain days, and fasted, and prayed before the God of heaven,
15 And I am very sore displeased with the heathen that are at ease: for I was but a little displeased, and they helped forward the affliction.
11 Now hear me therefore, and deliver the captives again, which ye have taken captive of your brethren: for the fierce wrath of the LORD is upon you.
6 Wherefore my fury and mine anger was poured forth, and was kindled in the cities of Judah and in the streets of usalem; and they are wasted and desolate, as at this day.
1 But it came to pass, that when Sanballat heard that we builded the wall, he was wroth, and took great indignation, and mocked the Jews.
6 I was wroth with my people, I have polluted mine inheritance, and given them into thine hand: thou didst shew them no mercy; upon the ancient hast thou very heavily laid thy yoke.
11 Then contended I with the rulers, and said, Why is the house of God forsaken? And I gathered them together, and set them in their place.
7 But it came to pass, that when Sanballat, and Tobiah, and the Arabians, and the Ammonites, and the Ashdodites, heard that the walls of Jerusalem were made up, and that the breaches began to be stopped, then they were very wroth,
3 And when I heard this thing, I rent my garment and my mantle, and plucked off the hair of my head and of my beard, and sat down astonied.
4 Then were assembled unto me every one that trembled at the words of the God of Israel, because of the transgression of those that had been carried away; and I sat astonied until the evening sacrifice.
23 If thou afflict them in any wise, and they cry at all unto me, I will surely hear their cry;
24 And my wrath shall wax hot, and I will kill you with the sword; and your wives shall be widows, and your children fatherless.
8 And it grieved me sore: therefore I cast forth all the household stuff of Tobiah out of the chamber.
17 Then said I unto them, Ye see the distress that we are in, how Jerusalem lieth waste, and the gates thereof are burd with fire: come, and let us build up the wall of Jerusalem, that we be no more a reproach.
6 For how can I endure to see the evil that shall come unto my people? or how can I endure to see the dtruction of my kindred?
25 And I contended with them, and cursed them, and smote certain of them, and plucked off their hair, and made them swear by God, saying, Ye shall not give your daughters unto their sons, nor take their daughters unto your sons, or for yourselves.
15 And I will execute vengeance in anger and fury upon the heathen, such as they have not heard.
34 And the LORD heard the voice of your words, and was wroth, and sware, saying,
10 Now it is in mine heart to make a covenant with the LORD God of Israel, that his fierce wrath may turn away from us.
11 Therefore I am full of the fury of the LORD; I am weary with holding in: I will pour it out upon the children abroad, and upon the assembly of young men together: for even the husband with the wife shall be taken, the aged with him that is full of days.
5 And cover not their iniquity, and let not their sin be blotted out from before thee: for they have provoked thee to anger before the builders.
18 Therefore will I also deal in fury: mine eye shall not spare, neither will I have pity: and though they cry in mine ears with a loud voice, yet will I not hear them.
17 Then I contended with the nobles of Judah, and said unto them, What evil thing is this that ye do, and profa the sabbath day?
8 Wherefore the wrath of the LORD was upon Judah and Jerusalem, and he hath delivered them to trouble, to astonishment, and to hissing, as ye see with your eyes.
20 And the anger of the LORD was hot against Israel; and he said, Because that this people hath transgressed my covenant which I commanded their fathers, and have not hearkened unto my voice;
10 When Sanballat the Horonite, and Tobiah the servant, the Ammonite, heard of it, it grieved them exceedingly that there was come a man to seek the welfare of the children of Israel.
12 But after that our fathers had provoked the God of heaven unto wrath, he gave them into the hand of Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon, the Chaldean, who destroyed this house, and carried the people away into Babylon.
5 Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, and vex them in his sore displeasure.
31 For this city hath been to me as a provocation of mine anger and of my fury from the day that they built it even unto this day; that I should remove it from before my face,
32 Because of all the evil of the children of Israel and of the children of Judah, which they have done to provoke me to anger, they, their kings, their princes, their priests, and their prophets, and the men of Judah, and the inhabitants of usalem.
6 Then the LORD said unto me, Proclaim all these words in the cities of Judah, and in the streets of usalem, saying, Hear ye the words of this covenant, and do them.
5 And I have also heard the groaning of the children of Israel, whom the Egyptians keep in bondage; and I have remembered my covenant.
9 And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
27 And the anger of the LORD was kindled against this land, to bring upon it all the curses that are written in this book:
16 Yea, also I continued in the work of this wall, ither bought we any land: and all my servants were gathered thither unto the work.
