18 And about the time of forty years suffered he their manners in the wilderness.

9 Then he sheweth them their work, and their transgressions that they have exceeded.
11 And forgat his works, and his wonders that he had shewed them.
13 Furthermore the LORD spake unto me, saying, I have seen this people, and, behold, it is a stiffnecked people:
7 Thou calledst in trouble, and I delivered thee; I answered thee in the secret place of thunder: I proved thee at the waters of Meribah. Selah.
30 Yet many years didst thou forbear them, and testifiedst against them by thy spirit in thy prophets: yet would they not give ear: therefore gavest thou them into the hand of the people of the lands.
9 And the LORD said unto Moses, I have seen this people, and, behold, it is a stiffnecked people:
26 vertheless they were disobedient, and rebelled against thee, and cast thy law behind their backs, and slew thy prophets which testified against them to turn them to thee, and they wrought great provocations.
