1 And God{H430} spake{H1696}{(H8762)} all these words{H1697}, saying{H559}{(H8800)},

2 I am the LORD{H3068} thy God{H430}, which have brought{H3318}{(H8689)} thee out of the land{H776} of Egypt{H4714}, out of the house{H1004} of bondage{H5650}.

3 Thou shalt have no other{H312} gods{H430} before me{H6440}.

4 Thou shalt not make{H6213}{(H8799)} unto thee any graven image{H6459}, or any likeness{H8544} of any thing that{H834} is in heaven{H8064} above{H4605}, or that is in the earth{H776} beneath, or that is in the water{H4325} under the earth{H776}:

5 Thou shalt not bow down{H7812}{(H8691)} thyself to them, nor serve{H5647}{(H8714)} them: for I the LORD{H3068} thy God{H430} am a jealous{H7067} God{H410}, visiting{H6485}{(H8802)} the iniquity{H5771} of the fathers{H1} upon the children{H1121} unto the third{H8029} and fourth{H7256} generation of them that hate{H8130}{(H8802)} me;

6 And shewing{H6213}{(H8802)} mercy{H2617} unto thousands{H505} of them that love{H157}{(H8802)} me, and keep{H8104}{(H8802)} my commandments{H4687}.

7 Thou shalt not take{H5375}{(H8799)} the name{H8034} of the LORD{H3068} thy God{H430} in vain{H7723}; for the LORD{H3068} will not hold him guiltless{H5352}{(H8762)} that taketh{H5375}{(H8799)} his name{H8034} in vain{H7723}.

8 Remember{H2142}{(H8800)} the sabbath{H7676} day{H3117}, to keep it holy{H6942}{(H8763)}.

9 Six{H8337} days{H3117} shalt thou labour{H5647}{(H8799)}, and do{H6213}{(H8804)} all thy work{H4399}:

10 But the seventh{H7637} day{H3117} is the sabbath{H7676} of the LORD{H3068} thy God{H430}: in it thou shalt not do{H6213}{(H8799)} any work{H4399}, thou, nor thy son{H1121}, nor thy daughter{H1323}, thy manservant{H5650}, nor thy maidservant{H519}, nor thy cattle{H929}, nor thy stranger{H1616} that is within thy gates{H8179}:

11 For in six{H8337} days{H3117} the LORD{H3068} made{H6213}{(H8804)} heaven{H8064} and earth{H776}, the sea{H3220}, and all that in them is, and rested{H5117}{(H8799)} the seventh{H7637} day{H3117}: wherefore the LORD{H3068} blessed{H1288}{(H8765)} the sabbath{H7676} day{H3117}, and hallowed{H6942}{(H8762)} it.

12 Honour{H3513}{(H8761)} thy father{H1} and thy mother{H517}: that thy days{H3117} may be long{H748}{(H8686)} upon the land{H127} which the LORD{H3068} thy God{H430} giveth{H5414}{(H8802)} thee.

13 Thou shalt not kill{H7523}{(H8799)}.

14 Thou shalt not commit adultery{H5003}{(H8799)}.

15 Thou shalt not steal{H1589}{(H8799)}.

16 Thou shalt not bear{H6030}{(H8799)} false{H8267} witness{H5707} against thy neighbour{H7453}.

17 Thou shalt not covet{H2530}{(H8799)} thy neighbour's{H7453} house{H1004}, thou shalt not covet{H2530}{(H8799)} thy neighbour's{H7453} wife{H802}, nor his manservant{H5650}, nor his maidservant{H519}, nor his ox{H7794}, nor his ass{H2543}, nor any thing that is thy neighbour's{H7453}.

18 And all the people{H5971} saw{H7200}{(H8802)} the thunderings{H6963}, and the lightnings{H3940}, and the noise{H6963} of the trumpet{H7782}, and the mountain{H2022} smoking{H6226}: and when the people{H5971} saw{H7200}{(H8799)} it, they removed{H5128}{(H8799)}, and stood{H5975}{(H8799)} afar off{H7350}.

19 And they said{H559}{(H8799)} unto Moses{H4872}, Speak{H1696}{(H8761)} thou with us, and we will hear{H8085}{(H8799)}: but let not God{H430} speak{H1696}{(H8762)} with us, lest we die{H4191}{(H8799)}.

20 And Moses{H4872} said{H559}{(H8799)} unto the people{H5971}, Fear{H3372}{(H8799)} not: for God{H430} is come{H935}{(H8804)} to{H5668} prove{H5254}{(H8763)} you, and that his fear{H3374} may be before your faces{H6440}, that ye sin{H2398}{(H8799)} not.

21 And the people{H5971} stood{H5975}{(H8799)} afar off{H7350}, and Moses{H4872} drew near{H5066}{(H8738)} unto the thick darkness{H6205} where God{H430} was.

22 And the LORD{H3068} said{H559}{(H8799)} unto Moses{H4872}, Thus thou shalt say{H559}{(H8799)} unto the children{H1121} of Israel{H3478}, Ye have seen{H7200}{(H8804)} that I have talked{H1696}{(H8765)} with you from heaven{H8064}.

23 Ye shall not make{H6213}{(H8799)} with me gods{H430} of silver{H3701}, neither shall ye make{H6213}{(H8799)} unto you gods{H430} of gold{H2091}.

24 An altar{H4196} of earth{H127} thou shalt make{H6213}{(H8799)} unto me, and shalt sacrifice{H2076}{(H8804)} thereon thy burnt offerings{H5930}, and thy peace offerings{H8002}, thy sheep{H6629}, and thine oxen{H1241}: in all places{H4725} where I record{H2142}{(H8686)} my name{H8034} I will come{H935}{(H8799)} unto thee, and I will bless{H1288}{(H8765)} thee.

25 And if thou wilt make{H6213}{(H8799)} me an altar{H4196} of stone{H68}, thou shalt not build{H1129}{(H8799)} it of hewn stone{H1496}: for if thou lift up{H5130}{(H8689)} thy tool{H2719} upon it, thou hast polluted{H2490}{(H8762)} it.

26 Neither shalt thou go up{H5927}{(H8799)} by steps{H4609} unto mine altar{H4196}, that thy nakedness{H6172} be not discovered{H1540}{(H8735)} thereon.
