To the chief Musician{H8764)}, to Jeduthun, A Psalm of David. Truly my soul waiteth upon God: from him cometh my salvation.
He only is my rock and my salvation; he is my defence; I shall not be greatly moved{H8735)}.
How long will ye imagine mischief{H8779)} against a man? ye shall be slain{H8792)} all of you: as a bowing{H8803)} wall shall ye be, and as a tottering{H8803)} fence.
They only consult{H8804)} to cast him down{H8687)} from his excellency: they delight{H8799)} in lies: they bless{H8762)} with their mouth, but they curse{H8762)} inwardly. Selah.
My soul, wait{H8798)} thou only upon God; for my expectation is from him.
He only is my rock and my salvation: he is my defence; I shall not be moved{H8735)}.
In God is my salvation and my glory: the rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God.
Trust{H8798)} in him at all times; ye people, pour out{H8798)} your heart before him: God is a refuge for us. Selah.
Surely men of low degree are vanity, and men of high degree are a lie: to be laid{H8800)} in the balance, they are altogether lighter than vanity.
Trust{H8799)} not in oppression, and become not vain{H8799)} in robbery: if riches increase{H8799)}, set{H8799)} not your heart upon them.
God hath spoken{H8765)} once; twice have I heard{H8804)} this; that power belongeth unto God.
Also unto thee, O Lord, belongeth mercy: for thou renderest{H8762)} to every man according to his work.
