1

To the chief Musician{H8764)}, A Song or Psalm. Make a joyful noise{H8685)} unto God, all ye lands:

2

Sing forth{H8761)} the honour of his name: make{H8798)} his praise glorious.

3

Say{H8798)} unto God, How terrible{H8737)} art thou in thy works! through the greatness of thy power shall thine enemies{H8802)} submit{H8762)} themselves unto thee.

4

All the earth shall worship{H8691)} thee, and shall sing{H8762)} unto thee; they shall sing{H8762)} to thy name. Selah.

5

Come{H8798)} and see{H8798)} the works of God: he is terrible{H8737)} in his doing toward the children of men.

6

He turned{H8804)} the sea into dry land: they went{H8799)} through the flood on foot: there did we rejoice{H8799)} in him.

7

He ruleth{H8802)} by his power for ever; his eyes behold{H8799)} the nations: let not the rebellious{H8802)} exalt{H8799)}{H8675)}{H8686)} themselves. Selah.

8

O bless{H8761)} our God, ye people, and make the voice of his praise to be heard{H8685)}:

9

Which holdeth{H8802)} our soul in life, and suffereth{H8804)} not our feet to be moved.

10

For thou, O God, hast proved{H8804)} us: thou hast tried{H8804)} us, as silver is tried{H8800)}.

11

Thou broughtest{H8689)} us into the net; thou laidst{H8804)} affliction upon our loins.

12

Thou hast caused men to ride{H8689)} over our heads; we went{H8804)} through fire and through water: but thou broughtest us out{H8686)} into a wealthy place.

13

I will go{H8799)} into thy house with burnt offerings: I will pay{H8762)} thee my vows,

14

Which my lips have uttered{H8804)}, and my mouth hath spoken{H8765)}, when I was in trouble.

15

I will offer{H8686)} unto thee burnt sacrifices of fatlings, with the incense of rams; I will offer{H8799)} bullocks with goats. Selah.

16

Come{H8798)} and hear{H8798)}, all ye that fear God, and I will declare{H8762)} what he hath done{H8804)} for my soul.

17

I cried{H8804)} unto him with my mouth, and he was extolled{H8785)}{H8676)}{H8785)} with my tongue.

18

If I regard{H8804)} iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear{H8799)} me:

19

But verily God hath heard{H8804)} me; he hath attended{H8689)} to the voice of my prayer.

20

Blessed{H8803)} be God, which hath not turned away{H8689)} my prayer, nor his mercy from me.
