A Psalm for Solomon. Give{H8798)} the king thy judgments, O God, and thy righteousness unto the king's son.
He shall judge{H8799)} thy people with righteousness, and thy poor with judgment.
The mountains shall bring{H8799)} peace to the people, and the little hills, by righteousness.
He shall judge{H8799)} the poor of the people, he shall save{H8686)} the children of the needy, and shall break in pieces{H8762)} the oppressor{H8802)}.
They shall fear{H8799)} thee as long as the sun and moon endure, throughout all generations.
He shall come down{H8799)} like rain upon the mown grass: as showers that water the earth.
In his days shall the righteous flourish{H8799)}; and abundance of peace so long as the moon endureth.
He shall have dominion{H8799)} also from sea to sea, and from the river unto the ends of the earth.
They that dwell in the wilderness shall bow{H8799)} before him; and his enemies{H8802)} shall lick{H8762)} the dust.
The kings of Tarshish and of the isles shall bring{H8686)} presents: the kings of Sheba and Seba shall offer{H8686)} gifts.
Yea, all kings shall fall down{H8691)} before him: all nations shall serve{H8799)} him.
For he shall deliver{H8686)} the needy when he crieth{H8764)}; the poor also, and him that hath no helper{H8802)}.
He shall spare{H8799)} the poor and needy, and shall save{H8686)} the souls of the needy.
He shall redeem{H8799)} their soul from deceit and violence: and precious{H8799)} shall their blood be in his sight.
And he shall live{H8799)}, and to him shall be given{H8799)} of the gold of Sheba: prayer also shall be made{H8691)} for him continually; and daily shall he be praised{H8762)}.
There shall be an handful of corn in the earth upon the top of the mountains; the fruit thereof shall shake{H8799)} like Lebanon: and they of the city shall flourish{H8686)} like grass of the earth.
His name shall endure for ever: his name shall be continued{H8735)}{H8675)}{H8686)} as long as the sun: and men shall be blessed{H8691)} in him: all nations shall call him blessed{H8762)}.
Blessed{H8803)} be the LORD God, the God of Israel, who only doeth{H8802)} wondrous things{H8737)}.
And blessed{H8803)} be his glorious name for ever: and let the whole earth be filled{H8735)} with his glory; Amen, and Amen.
The prayers of David the son of Jesse are ended{H8795)}.
