He shall cover{H8686)} thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust{H8799)}: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.

Thou shalt not be afraid{H8799)} for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth{H8799)} by day;

Nor for the pestilence that walketh{H8799)} in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth{H8799)} at noonday.

A thousand shall fall{H8799)} at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh{H8799)} thee.

Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold{H8686)} and see{H8799)} the reward of the wicked.

Because thou hast made{H8804)} the LORD, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation;

There shall no evil befall{H8792)} thee, neither shall any plague come nigh{H8799)} thy dwelling.

For he shall give his angels charge{H8762)} over thee, to keep{H8800)} thee in all thy ways.

They shall bear thee up{H8799)} in their hands, lest thou dash{H8799)} thy foot against a stone.

Thou shalt tread{H8799)} upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet{H8799)}.

Because he hath set his love{H8804)} upon me, therefore will I deliver{H8762)} him: I will set him on high{H8762)}, because he hath known{H8804)} my name.

He shall call{H8799)} upon me, and I will answer{H8799)} him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver{H8762)} him, and honour{H8762)} him.

With long life will I satisfy{H8686)} him, and shew{H8686)} him my salvation.
