    20So Benhadad listened to King Asa, and sent the commanders of his armies against the cities of Israel, and struck Ijon, Dan, Abel Beth Maachah, and all Cinneroth, with all the land of Naphtali.

    21And it came to pass, when Baasha heard of it, he stopped building Ramah, and stayed in Tirzah.

    22Then King Asa made a proclamation throughout all Judah; none was exempted, and they took away the stones and timber of Ramah, which Baasha had used to build it. King Asa used them to build Geba of Benjamin, and Mizpah.

    23The rest of all the acts of Asa, all his might, all he did, and the cities he built, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah? Yet in his old age, he was diseased in his feet.

    24Asa slept with his fathers; he was buried with his fathers in the city of David his father, and Jehoshaphat his son reigned in his place.

    25Nadab the son of Jeroboam began to reign over Israel in the second year of Asa king of Judah, and he reigned over Israel two years.

    26He did evil in the sight of the LORD and walked in the way of his father, and in his sin by which he made Israel to sin.

    27Baasha the son of Ahijah, of the house of Issachar, conspired against him, and Baasha struck him at Gibbethon, which belonged to the Philistines, for Nadab and all Israel were besieging Gibbethon.

    28Baasha killed him in the third year of Asa king of Judah, and reigned in his place.

    29It came to pass, as soon as he reigned, that he struck all the house of Jeroboam; he left to Jeroboam none that breathed, until he had destroyed him, according to the word of the LORD, which He spoke by His servant Ahijah the Shilonite,

    33In the third year of Asa king of Judah, Baasha the son of Ahijah began to reign over all Israel in Tirzah for twenty-four years.

    1In the thirty-sixth year of the reign of Asa, Baasha king of Israel came against Judah and built Ramah, to prevent anyone from going out or coming in to Asa king of Judah.

    6Then King Asa took all Judah; and they carried away the stones of Ramah and the timber thereof, with which Baasha was building; and he built with them Geba and Mizpah.

    10Then Asa was angry with the seer, and put him in prison; for he was in a rage with him because of this thing. And Asa oppressed some of the people at the same time.

    7Moreover by the prophet Jehu the son of Hanani came the word of the LORD against Baasha and his house, for all the evil that he did in the sight of the LORD in provoking him to anger with the work of his hands, in being like the house of Jeroboam, and also because he struck him down.
