Now do not be grieved, nor angry with yourselves, that you sold me here; for God sent me before you to preserve life.

3 And Joseph said to his brothers, I am Joseph; does my father still live? And his brothers could not answer him, for they were dismayed at his presence.

16 And they sent a messenger unto Joseph, saying, Your father did command before he died, saying,
17 So shall you say unto Joseph, Forgive, I pray you now, the trespass of your brothers, and their sin, for they did unto you evil, and now, we pray you, forgive the trespass of the servants of the God of your father. And Joseph wept when they spoke unto him.
18 And his brothers also went and fell down before his face, and they said, Behold, we are your servants.
19 And Joseph said unto them, Fear not, for am I in the place of God?
20 But as for you, you thought evil against me, but God meant it unto good, to bring to pass, as it is this day, to save many people alive.
21 Now therefore fear not, I will nourish you, and your little ones. And he comforted them, and spoke kindly unto them.
17 He sent a man before them, Joseph, who was sold for a servant:
27 Come, and let us sell him to the Ishmaelites, and let not our hand be upon him; for he is our brother and our flesh. And his brothers were content.

17 And Pharaoh said to Joseph, Say to your brothers, Do this: load your animals and go, get to the land of Canaan.
5 And the sons of Israel came to buy grain among those that came: for the famine was in the land of Canaan.
6 And Joseph was the governor over the land, and he it was who sold to all the people of the land: and Joseph's brothers came, and bowed down themselves before him with their faces to the ground.
7 And Joseph saw his brothers, and he recognized them, but made himself strange to them, and spoke roughly to them; and he said to them, Where do you come from? And they said, From the land of Canaan to buy food.
5 And Pharaoh spoke to Joseph, saying, Your father and your brothers have come to you:
15 And Joseph said to them, What deed is this that you have done? Do you not know that such a man as I can certainly divine?
9 And the patriarchs, moved with envy, sold Joseph into Egypt, but God was with him,
14 And may God Almighty give you mercy before the man, that he may release your other brother and Benjamin. If I am bereaved of my children, I am bereaved.
23 And he said, Peace be to you, do not be afraid: your God and the God of your father has given you treasure in your sacks: I received your money. And he brought Simeon out to them.
1 Then Joseph could not restrain himself before all those who stood by him; and he cried, Make every man go out from me. So no man stood with him while Joseph made himself known to his brothers.
14 And Joseph said to them, That is it that I spoke to you, saying, You are spies:
15 Hereby you shall be tested: By the life of Pharaoh you shall not go forth from here, except your youngest brother come here.

20 Also do not concern yourselves with your goods, for the best of all the land of Egypt is yours.
31 And Joseph said to his brothers, and to his father's household, I will go up and tell Pharaoh, and say to him, My brothers and my father's house, who were in the land of Canaan, have come to me.
4 And when they had gone out of the city, and were not yet far off, Joseph said to his steward, Up, follow after the men; and when you overtake them, say to them, Why have you repaid evil for good?
2 And he said, Behold, I have heard that there is grain in Egypt: go down there, and buy for us from there; that we may live, and not die.
24 So he sent his brothers away, and they departed; and he said to them, See that you do not quarrel on the way.
36 And the Midianites sold him into Egypt to Potiphar, an officer of Pharaoh's, and captain of the guard.
28 And he sent Judah before him to Joseph, to direct him to Goshen; and they came into the land of Goshen.
18 Then Judah came near to him, and said, Oh my lord, let your servant, I pray you, speak a word in my lord's ears, and let not your anger burn against your servant: for you are even as Pharaoh.
