And it came to pass after these things, that one told Joseph, Behold, your father is sick: and he took with him his two sons, Manasseh and Ephraim.

21And Israel said to Joseph, Behold, I die: but God shall be with you, and bring you again unto the land of your fathers.
17And when Joseph saw that his father laid his right hand upon the head of Ephraim, it displeased him: and he held up his father's hand, to remove it from Ephraim's head unto Manasseh's head.
18And Joseph said to his father, Not so, my father: for this is the firstborn; put your right hand upon his head.

29And they came to Jacob their father in the land of Canaan, and told him all that had happened to them; saying,
1Then Joseph came and told Pharaoh, saying, My father and my brothers, and their flocks, and their herds, and all that they have, have come out of the land of Canaan; and behold, they are in the land of Goshen.
7And Joseph went up to bury his father, and with him went up all the servants of Pharaoh, the elders of his house, and all the elders of the land of Egypt,
51Joseph called the name of the firstborn Manasseh, For God, he said, has made me forget all my toil and all my father's house.
4And Joseph said to his brothers, Come near to me, I pray you. And they came near. And he said, I am Joseph your brother, whom you sold into Egypt.
36And Jacob their father said to them, You have bereaved me of my children: Joseph is no more, and Simeon is no more, and you will take Benjamin away: all these things are against me.
