Take the sum of the prey that was taken, both of man and of beast, you, and Eleazar the priest, and the chief fathers of the congregation;

43(Now the half that belonged to the congregation was three hundred thirty-seven thousand five hundred sheep,
44And thirty-six thousand cattle,
46And sixteen thousand persons)
47Even from the children of Israel's half, Moses took one out of every fifty, both of man and of beast, and gave them to the Levites who kept the charge of the tabernacle of the LORD, as the LORD commanded Moses.
21And Eleazar the priest said to the men of war who went to the battle, This is the ordinance of the law which the LORD commanded Moses:
28So concerning them Moses commanded Eleazar the priest, and Joshua the son of Nun, and the chief fathers of the tribes of the children of Israel,
2Take a census of all the congregation of the children of Israel, by their families, by their fathers' houses, according to the number of names, every male, head by head;
3From twenty years old and above, all who are able to go to war in Israel: you and Aaron shall number them by their armies.
2Take the sum of the sons of Kohath from among the sons of Levi, by their families, by the house of their fathers,
14But the women, and the little ones, and the cattle, and all that is in the city, even all the spoil of it, you shall take for yourself; and you shall eat the spoil of your enemies, which the LORD your God has given you.
9And the children of Israel took all the women of Midian captives, and their little ones, and took the spoil of all their cattle, all their flocks, and all their goods.
7But all the livestock and the spoil of the cities, we took as plunder for ourselves.
2Avenge the children of Israel on the Midianites; afterward you shall be gathered to your people.
3And Moses spoke to the people, saying, Arm some of yourselves for war, and let them go against the Midianites to avenge the LORD on Midian.
63These are they that were numbered by Moses and Eleazar the priest, who numbered the children of Israel in the plains of Moab by Jordan near Jericho.
12When you take a census of the children of Israel for their number, then every man shall give a ransom for his soul to the LORD when you number them, that there may be no plague among them when you number them.

49Only you shall not number the tribe of Levi, nor take a census of them among the children of Israel;
14So the armed men left the captives and the spoil before the leaders and all the congregation.
21This is the inventory of the tabernacle, the tabernacle of testimony, as it was reviewed, by the commandment of Moses, for the service of the Levites, under the direction of Ithamar, son of Aaron the priest.
46All those that were numbered of the Levites, whom Moses and Aaron and the chiefs of Israel numbered, by their families, and by the house of their fathers,
18And you shall take one leader of every tribe to divide the land by inheritance.
