27 David was wrapped in a linen robe, as were all the Levites carrying the ark, the musicians, and Kenaniah the supervisor of transport and the musicians; David also wore a linen ephod.
28 All Israel brought up the ark of the LORD’s covenant; they were shouting, blowing trumpets, sounding cymbals, and playing stringed instruments.
19 Then some Levites, from the Kohathites and Korahites, got up and loudly praised the LORD God of Israel.
17 Mattaniah son of Mica, the son of Zabdi, the son of Asaph, the praise leader who led in thanksgiving and prayer; Bakbukiah, second among his colleagues; and Abda son of Shammua, the son of Galal, the son of Jeduthun.
21 The Israelites who were in Jerusalem observed the Feast of Unleavened Bread for seven days with great joy. The Levites and priests were praising the LORD every day with all their might.
6 All of these were under the supervision of their fathers; they were musicians in the LORD’s temple, playing cymbals and stringed instruments as they served in God’s temple. Asaph, Jeduthun, and Heman were under the supervision of the king.
30 They also stood in a designated place every morning and offered thanks and praise to the LORD. They also did this in the evening
