21I have not written to you that you do not know the truth, but that you do know it, and that no lie is of the truth.
5For you all are sons of the light and sons of the day. We are not of the night nor of the darkness.
23But if your eye is diseased, your whole body will be full of darkness. If then the light in you is darkness, how great is the darkness!
6We are from God; the person who knows God listens to us, but whoever is not from God does not listen to us. By this we know the Spirit of truth and the spirit of deceit.
35Therefore see to it that the light in you is not darkness.
36If then your whole body is full of light, with no part in the dark, it will be as full of light as when the light of a lamp shines on you.”
1(My little children, I am writing these things to you so that you may not sin.) But if anyone does sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the Righteous One,
2because of the truth that resides in us and will be with us forever.
