not like Cain who was of the evil one and brutally murdered his brother. And why did he murder him? Because his deeds were evil, but his brother’s were righteous.

I will be a homeless wanderer on the earth; whoever finds me will kill me.” 15 But the LORD said to him,“All right then, if anyone kills Cain, Cain will be avenged seven times as much.” Then the LORD put a special mark on Cain so that no one who found him would strike him down.

    16We have come to know love by this: that Jesus laid down his life for us; thus we ought to lay down our lives for our fellow Christians.

    17But whoever has the world’s possessions and sees his fellow Christian in need and shuts off his compassion against him, how can the love of God reside in such a person?

    10The one who loves his fellow Christian resides in the light, and there is no cause for stumbling in him.

    11But the one who hates his fellow Christian is in the darkness, walks in the darkness, and does not know where he is going, because the darkness has blinded his eyes.
