12 David realized that the LORD had established him as king over Israel and that he had elevated his kingdom for the sake of his people Israel.
18 So Samuel called to the LORD, and the LORD made it thunder and rain that day. All the people were very afraid of both the LORD and Samuel.
21 And indeed the LORD attended to Hannah. She got pregnant and gave birth to three sons and two daughters. But the boy Samuel grew up before the LORD.
