7Instead we speak the wisdom of God, hidden in a mystery, that God determined before the ages for our glory.

4But as God’s servants, we have commended ourselves in every way, with great endurance, in persecutions, in difficulties, in distresses,

9But he said to me,“My grace is enough for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” So then, I will boast most gladly about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may reside in me.
7You are looking at outward appearances. If anyone is confident that he belongs to Christ, he should reflect on this again: Just as he himself belongs to Christ, so too do we.
8For if I boast somewhat more about our authority that the Lord gave us for building you up and not for tearing you down, I will not be ashamed of doing so.
17For we are not like so many others, hucksters who peddle the word of God for profit, but we are speaking in Christ before God as persons of sincerity, as persons sent from God.
19and what is the incomparable greatness of his power toward us who believe, as displayed in the exercise of his immense strength.

6nor to seek glory from people, either from you or from others,
