So David said,“Good! I will make an agreement with you. I ask only one thing from you. You will not see my face unless you bring Saul’s daughter Michal when you come to visit me.”

Now the specified time had not yet expired 27 when David, along with his men, went out and struck down two hundred Philistine men. David brought their foreskins and presented all of them to the king so he could become the king’s son-in-law. Saul then gave him his daughter Michal in marriage. 28 When Saul realized that the LORD was with David and that his daughter Michal loved David,

Now he has escaped!” Michal replied to Saul,“He said to me,‘Help me get away or else I will kill you!’”

    6Abner Defects to David’s Camp As the war continued between the house of Saul and the house of David, Abner was becoming more influential in the house of Saul.
