15Therefore, brothers and sisters, stand firm and hold on to the traditions that we taught you, whether by speech or by letter.

7so that now instead you should rather forgive and comfort him. This will keep him from being overwhelmed by excessive grief to the point of despair.
14Here is another way that our people can learn to engage in good works to meet pressing needs and so not be unfruitful.
2Make room for us in your hearts; we have wronged no one, we have ruined no one, we have exploited no one.
4So they are astonished when you do not rush with them into the same flood of wickedness, and they vilify you.
16But if you suffer as a Christian, do not be ashamed, but glorify God that you bear such a name.
14And if anyone will not welcome you or listen to your message, shake the dust off your feet as you leave that house or that town.
