15Then as I began to speak, the Holy Spirit fell on them just as he did on us at the beginning.
16And I remembered the word of the Lord, as he used to say,‘John baptized with water, but you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit.’
17Therefore if God gave them the same gift as he also gave us after believing in the Lord Jesus Christ, who was I to hinder God?”
23So Peter invited them in and entertained them as guests.On the next day he got up and set out with them, and some of the brothers from Joppa accompanied him.
13When they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and discovered that they were uneducated and ordinary men, they were amazed and recognized these men had been with Jesus.
14And because they saw the man who had been healed standing with them, they had nothing to say against this.
16This happened three times, and immediately the object was taken up into heaven.

32Therefore send to Joppa and summon Simon, who is called Peter. This man is staying as a guest in the house of Simon the tanner, by the sea.’
19But Peter and John replied,“Whether it is right before God to obey you rather than God, you decide,

21After threatening them further, they released them, for they could not find how to punish them on account of the people, because they were all praising God for what had happened.
