  • 26But your ancestors did not listen to me nor pay attention to me. They became obstinate and were more wicked than even their own forefathers.’”

  • 3So Moses and Aaron came to Pharaoh and told him,“This is what the LORD, the God of the Hebrews, has said:‘How long do you refuse to humble yourself before me? Release my people so that they may serve me!

  • 16“But they– our ancestors– behaved presumptuously; they rebelled and did not obey your commandments.

  • 11“But they refused to pay attention, turning away stubbornly and stopping their ears so they could not hear.

  • 6And Moses and Aaron did so; they did just as the LORD commanded them.

  • 1Then the LORD said to Moses,“Now you will see what I will do to Pharaoh, for compelled by my strong hand he will release them, and by my strong hand he will drive them out of his land.”
