You mix uncleanness with obscene conduct. I tried to cleanse you, but you are not clean. You will not be cleansed from your uncleanness until I have exhausted my anger on you.

In ṭum'āṯēḵ zimmāh; because ṭihartîḵ and not ṭāhart, from miṭṭum'āṯēḵ not ṭiṭhărî still, until hănîḥî 'eṯ-ḥămāṯî in you.

Their leaders will fall by the sword because their prayers to Baal have made me angry. So people will disdain them in the land of Egypt.

Still you did not come back to me.” The LORD is speaking! 11 “I overthrew some of you the way God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah. You were like a burning stick snatched from the flames. Still you did not come back to me.” The LORD is speaking! 12 “Therefore this is what I will do to you, Israel. Because I will do this to you, prepare to meet your God, Israel!
