22But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,
23gentleness, and self-control. Against such things there is no law.
24Now those who belong to Christ have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.
25If we live by the Spirit, let us also behave in accordance with the Spirit.
26Let us not become conceited, provoking one another, being jealous of one another.
14For we know that the law is spiritual– but I am unspiritual, sold into slavery to sin.
15For I don’t understand what I am doing. For I do not do what I want– instead, I do what I hate.
16But if I do what I don’t want, I agree that the law is good.
17But now it is no longer me doing it, but sin that lives in me.

23But I see a different law in my members waging war against the law of my mind and making me captive to the law of sin that is in my members.
5Or do you think the scripture means nothing when it says,“The spirit that God caused to live within us has an envious yearning”?
8because the person who sows to his own flesh will reap corruption from the flesh, but the one who sows to the Spirit will reap eternal life from the Spirit.
12Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body so that you obey its desires,
13Practice Love For you were called to freedom, brothers and sisters; only do not use your freedom as an opportunity to indulge your flesh, but through love serve one another.
16because all that is in the world(the desire of the flesh and the desire of the eyes and the arrogance produced by material possessions) is not from the Father, but is from the world.

13For those who are circumcised do not obey the law themselves, but they want you to be circumcised so that they can boast about your flesh.
7What shall we say then? Is the law sin? Absolutely not! Certainly, I would not have known sin except through the law. For indeed I would not have known what it means to desire something belonging to someone else if the law had not said,“Do not covet.”
41Stay awake and pray that you will not fall into temptation. The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak.”
