14I will say to a young woman,‘Please lower your jar so I may drink.’ May the one you have chosen for your servant Isaac reply,‘Drink, and I’ll give your camels water too.’ In this way I will know that you have been faithful to my master.”
18God had told him,“Through Isaac descendants will carry on your name,”
29Then Isaac breathed his last and joined his ancestors. He died an old man who had lived a full life. His sons Esau and Jacob buried him.

19God said,“No, Sarah your wife is going to bear you a son, and you will name him Isaac. I will confirm my covenant with him as a perpetual covenant for his descendants after him.
21But I will establish my covenant with Isaac, whom Sarah will bear to you at this set time next year.”
39So his father Isaac said to him,“See here, your home will be by the richness of the earth, and by the dew of the sky above.
