30“So now, when I return to your servant my father, and the boy is not with us– his very life is bound up in his son’s life.
8Now then, my son, do exactly what I tell you!

36Their father Jacob said to them,“You are making me childless! Joseph is gone. Simeon is gone. And now you want to take Benjamin! Everything is against me.”

6You know that I’ve worked for your father as hard as I could,
7but your father has humiliated me and changed my wages ten times. But God has not permitted him to do me any harm.

4Even now you say to me,‘You are my father! You have been my faithful companion ever since I was young.
