21But the LORD was with Joseph and showed him kindness. He granted him favor in the sight of the prison warden.
22The warden put all the prisoners under Joseph’s care. He was in charge of whatever they were doing.
23The warden did not concern himself with anything that was in Joseph’s care because the LORD was with him and whatever he was doing the LORD was making successful.
46Now Joseph was 30 years old when he began serving Pharaoh king of Egypt. Joseph was commissioned by Pharaoh and was in charge of all the land of Egypt.
9The patriarchs, because they were jealous of Joseph, sold him into Egypt. But God was with him,
10and rescued him from all his troubles, and granted him favor and wisdom in the presence of Pharaoh, king of Egypt, who made him ruler over Egypt and over all his household.
41“See here,” Pharaoh said to Joseph,“I place you in authority over all the land of Egypt.”
