10You will live in the land of Goshen, and you will be near me– you, your children, your grandchildren, your flocks, your herds, and everything you have.
27Come, let’s sell him to the Ishmaelites, but let’s not lay a hand on him, for after all, he is our brother, our own flesh.” His brothers agreed.
28So when the Midianite merchants passed by, Joseph’s brothers pulled him out of the cistern and sold him to the Ishmaelites for twenty pieces of silver. The Ishmaelites then took Joseph to Egypt.

1Joseph’s Wise Administration Joseph went and told Pharaoh,“My father, my brothers, their flocks and herds, and all that they own have arrived from the land of Canaan. They are now in the land of Goshen.”
14But Joseph told them,“It is just as I said to you: You are spies!
15You will be tested in this way: As surely as Pharaoh lives, you will not depart from this place unless your youngest brother comes here.
14So Judah and his brothers came back to Joseph’s house. He was still there, and they threw themselves to the ground before him.
15Joseph said to them,“What did you think you were doing? Don’t you know that a man like me can find out things like this by divination?”
25So they went up from Egypt and came to their father Jacob in the land of Canaan.
12You and my brother Benjamin can certainly see with your own eyes that I really am the one who speaks to you.
13So tell my father about all my honor in Egypt and about everything you have seen. But bring my father down here quickly!”
