8So now, it is not you who sent me here, but God. He has made me an adviser to Pharaoh, lord over all his household, and ruler over all the land of Egypt.
9Now go up to my father quickly and tell him,‘This is what your son Joseph says:“God has made me lord of all Egypt. Come down to me; do not delay!
5Pharaoh said to Joseph,“Your father and your brothers have come to you.
19Moses took the bones of Joseph with him, for Joseph had made the Israelites solemnly swear,“God will surely attend to you, and you will carry my bones up from this place with you.”
3He said,“I am God, the God of your father. Do not be afraid to go down to Egypt, for I will make you into a great nation there.
4I will go down with you to Egypt and I myself will certainly bring you back from there. Joseph will close your eyes.”
7Then Joseph brought in his father Jacob and presented him before Pharaoh. Jacob blessed Pharaoh.
8Pharaoh said to Jacob,“How long have you lived?”
21Then Israel said to Joseph,“I am about to die, but God will be with you and will bring you back to the land of your fathers.
55When all the land of Egypt experienced the famine, the people cried out to Pharaoh for food. Pharaoh said to all the people of Egypt,“Go to Joseph and do whatever he tells you.”
25So they went up from Egypt and came to their father Jacob in the land of Canaan.
17But Joseph said,“Far be it from me to do this! The man in whose hand the cup was found will become my slave, but the rest of you may go back to your father in peace.”

29Then he instructed them,“I am about to go to my people. Bury me with my fathers in the cave in the field of Ephron the Hittite.
13So tell my father about all my honor in Egypt and about everything you have seen. But bring my father down here quickly!”
