1But God remembered Noah and all the wild animals and domestic animals that were with him in the ark. God caused a wind to blow over the earth and the waters receded.
27May God enlarge Japheth’s territory and numbers! May he live in the tents of Shem and may Canaan be the slave of Japheth!”
28After the flood Noah lived 350 years.
7Noah entered the ark along with his sons, his wife, and his sons’ wives because of the floodwaters.
8Pairs of clean animals, of unclean animals, of birds, and of everything that creeps along the ground,
9male and female, came into the ark to Noah, just as God had commanded him.
1The LORD said to Noah,“Come into the ark, you and all your household, for I consider you godly among this generation.
21And you must take for yourself every kind of food that is eaten, and gather it together. It will be food for you and for them.”
11God said,“Let the land produce vegetation: plants yielding seeds and trees on the land bearing fruit with seed in it, according to their kinds.” It was so.
1God’s Grief over Humankind’s Wickedness When humankind began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born to them,
15then I will remember my covenant with you and with all living creatures of all kinds. Never again will the waters become a flood and destroy all living things.
18but I will confirm my covenant with you. You will enter the ark– you, your sons, your wife, and your sons’ wives with you.
6Marry and have sons and daughters. Find wives for your sons and allow your daughters to get married so that they too can have sons and daughters. Grow in number; do not dwindle away.
