1¶ Introduction: God Has Spoken Fully and Finally in His Son After God spoke long ago in various portions and in various ways to our ancestors through the prophets,
2in these last days he has spoken to us in a son, whom he appointed heir of all things, and through whom he created the world.
16for it is written,“You shall be holy, because I am holy.”
17And if you address as Father the one who impartially judges according to each one’s work, live out the time of your temporary residence here in reverence.
5The Son Is Superior to Angels For to which of the angels did God ever say,“You are my son! Today I have fathered you”? And in another place he says,“I will be his father and he will be my son.”
8Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever!
19Drawing Near to God in Enduring Faith Therefore, brothers and sisters, since we have confidence to enter the sanctuary by the blood of Jesus,
29How much greater punishment do you think that person deserves who has contempt for the Son of God, and profanes the blood of the covenant that made him holy, and insults the Spirit of grace?
