5If indeed you would exalt yourselves above me and plead my disgrace against me,
6Is not your piety your confidence, and your blameless ways your hope?
26He entreats God, and God delights in him, he sees God’s face with rejoicing, and God restores to him his righteousness.
7There an upright person could present his case before him, and I would be delivered forever from my judge.
5You must change the way you have been living and do what is right. You must treat one another fairly.
23“But if you do not do this, then look, you will have sinned against the LORD. And know that your sin will find you out.
14If I sinned, then you would watch me and you would not acquit me of my iniquity.
21And why do you not pardon my transgression, and take away my iniquity? For now I will lie down in the dust, and you will seek me diligently, but I will be gone.”
