5May those who wait to ambush me be repaid for their evil! As a demonstration of your faithfulness, destroy them!
10When my enemies see this, they will be covered with shame. They say to me,“Where is the LORD your God?” I will gloat over them. Then they will be trampled down like mud in the streets.
8Jerusalem Will Be Vindicated My enemies, do not gloat over me! Though I have fallen, I will get up. Though I sit in darkness, the LORD will be my light.

1Vindicate me, O God! Fight for me against an ungodly nation! Deliver me from deceitful and evil men!
9As for the heads of those who surround me– may the harm done by their lips overwhelm them!
10May he rain down fiery coals upon them! May he throw them into the fire! From bottomless pits they will not escape.
13Rise up, LORD! Confront him! Knock him down! Use your sword to rescue me from the wicked man!
16Who will rise up to defend me against the wicked? Who will stand up for me against the evildoers?
14May those who are trying to snatch away my life be totally embarrassed and ashamed! May those who want to harm me be turned back and ashamed!
7There an upright person could present his case before him, and I would be delivered forever from my judge.
12Indeed, it is not an enemy who insults me, or else I could bear it; it is not one who hates me who arrogantly taunts me, or else I could hide from him.
17Do not rejoice when your enemy falls, and when he stumbles do not let your heart rejoice,
23But you, LORD, know all their plots to kill me. Do not pardon their crimes! Do not ignore their sins as though you had erased them! Let them be brought down in defeat before you! Deal with them while you are still angry!
6I will maintain my righteousness and never let it go; my conscience will not reproach me for as long as I live.
7All who hate me whisper insults about me to one another; they plan ways to harm me.
