9 So the Reubenites, Gadites, and half-tribe of Manasseh left the Israelites in Shiloh in the land of Canaan and headed home to their own land in Gilead, which they acquired by the LORD’s command through Moses.

23 Joshua conquered the whole land, just as the LORD had promised Moses, and he assigned Israel their tribal portions. Then the land was free of war.

8 Tribal Lands East of the Jordan The other half of Manasseh, Reuben, and Gad received their allotted tribal lands on east side of the Jordan, just as Moses, the LORD’s servant, had assigned them.
3 So Joshua said to the Israelites:“How long do you intend to put off occupying the land the LORD God of your ancestors has given you?
20 Then I said to you,“You have come to the Amorite hill country which the LORD our God is about to give us.
21 Look, he has placed the land in front of you! Go up, take possession of it, just as the LORD, the God of your ancestors, said to do. Do not be afraid or discouraged!”
11 Then he said to me,“Get up, set out leading the people so they may go and possess the land I promised to give to their ancestors.”
9 and that you may enjoy long life in the land the LORD promised to give to your ancestors and their descendants, a land flowing with milk and honey.
6 The End of an Era When Joshua dismissed the people, the Israelites went to their allotted portions of territory, intending to take possession of the land.
